This lamp fits most fixtures that accommodate T8 lamps and can be easily retrofitted to provide better lighting, energy savings, and longer life. This Dual technology provides all options for retrofitting, either instafit which works with existing ballast for simple “plug and play” installation or bypassing the ballast with either single or double ended power. Single ended power requires unshunted sockets while double ended power works without changing sockets in most instant start fluorescent fixtures. Using the instafit option initially and then changing to bypassing the ballast later is a unique option with this lamp.
